Team Skinner Adopts Halifax Medical Center Foundation as Its Charity for
Speed Weeks 2007 Requesting Donations from Race Fans and
Members of the Business Community

WHAT: Team Skinner – Mike, Angie and Dustin Skinner – has adopted Halifax Medical Center Foundation as its charity for Speed Weeks 2007. Team Skinner is requesting donations from race fans and members of the business community for each lap during Speed Weeks 2007. Donors can contribute a one-time donation or
pledge $1.00 per lap, per race. For example, a
donor can pledge $1.00 per lap and if Team Skinner drives 100 laps that would be a $100 donation. After the race, donors will receive an invoice from Halifax Medical Center, a 501(c)3 organization,
to support high-quality healthcare.

WHEN/WHERE: Speed Weeks 2007: Mike Skinner driving the Bill Davis Racing #5 Toyota Tundra NASCAR Craftsman Truck series race (100 laps) on February 16, 2007 at 8:00 pm. Mike Skinner driving the Bill Davis Racing #23 Toyota Camry NASCAR Daytona 500 race (200 laps) on February 18, 2007 at 3:15 pm. Dustin Skinner
driving the Skinner Performance #5 FASCAR Super Late Model races at New Smyrna Speedway nightly during Speed Weeks 2007.
WHY: Team Skinner wants to ensure all of the racing community, members of the greater Daytona Beach area, and the thousands of visitors who come to this area have access to the highest quality healthcare possible at Halifax Medical Center. The Team Skinner Endowment will support Halifax Medical Center
Foundation which helps Halifax Medical Center provide numerous programs and services including children’s programs like the Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units, Level II Trauma Center, Heart Center, and helps ensure the latest technology is available.

BACKGROUND: Mike Skinner once again piloted the #5 Toyota Tundra to a great season in 2006. The team again captured the award for the most poles during the season (eight) including: a win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, eight top-five finishes, 13 top-10 finishes and a 10th-place finish in the final points standings.
Skinner wrapped up one of the best seasons of his career and the #5 team is poised to win the 2007 Craftsman Truck Series Championship. With TRD power under the hood and a seasoned veteran driver behind the wheel, the sky is the limit.
